SAN DIEGO — The 10th annual Dining Out For Life is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 28, 2016. The San Diego LGBT Community Center, which produces the event, has announced that seven locations have already committed to donating 50 percent their food and liquor sales to this important HIV/AIDS fundraiser.
The following locations have made an impressive 50percent commitment — Barrio Star, Crest Cafe, Napizza Hillcrest, Napizza Little Italy, Ritual Kitchen & Beer Garden, Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage, and Waypoint Public.
“The generosity of these restaurants is absolutely inspiring,” said Ian Johnson, director of special events for The Center. “These significant commitments truly boost our efforts to raise as much money as possible for our vital HIV/AIDS services and prevention efforts. Please let these establishments know how much you appreciate their extraordinary support by making your reservations with one or more of them for April 28.”
Dining Out For Life® is a community-wide event that draws thousands of San Diegans to dine at some of San Diego’s best restaurants and bars on the last Thursday in April. These establishments have agreed to donate 25-100 percent of their food and liquor sales on that day to support HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs at The Center. Everyone can participate by simply dining out with family and friends for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at the participating establishments on Thursday, April 28.
