Guess who has sent you a sticky sweet, thoroughly thoughtful and super-sexy post card, Mr., Ms. and Mrs. San Diego LGBT Pride-goer?

Carmen Electra, that’s who!

Electra reaffirmed her LGBT-ally roots and affinities in 2014 when she was crowned by none other than Jeffrey Sanker as queen of this year’s 25th anniversary White Party in Palm Springs.

Now Carmen Electra has a stylishly hot, brand-spanking-new video to go along with her free-spirited electropop dance anthem, “WERQ,” which is a favorite on LGBT and straight dance floors in clubs from WeHo to Hillcrest and SoHo to Chelsea – not to mention from Paris to London.

Speaking of London, that’s where Electra was when she told San Diego LGBT Weekly that she had a wish to share with our readers who are in town celebrating Pride.

“Happy Pride, San Diego! If I weren’t out of the country working on a very special project, I’d be there celebrating with all of you! WERQ, WERQ, WERQ!” Electra told LGBT Weekly in an exclusive statement.

The actor, model and recording artist was speaking from a secret location in London, where our sources tell us the star of the Scary Movie film franchise, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Oy Vey, My Son is Gay – to name just a few titles from her filmography – is working on a new, “very special” film project that we’re sure to hear more about in coming months.

As a side note, newspapers in Britain recently published reports that media iconoclast Katie Price is seriously thinking of naming her second child “Electra” in honor of the former Baywatch star.

“She’s still the ultimate professional in modeling,” Price is quoted by Posh24.com as having said. “I like ‘Electra’ as a possible name for my baby …”

Flattery by way of child-naming notwithstanding, 42-year-old LGBT ally, Carmen Electra wants you to know as you celebrate Pride this weekend that she wishes she could be here in San Diego to celebrate with you.

So when you hear WERQ! on the dance floor at San Diego LGBT Pride this weekend, think of England – because that’s where Carmen Electra is working and thinking of LGBT Pride in America’s Finest City.
