This short film series, The Devotion Project, is a not-for-profit endeavor taken on by Tony Osso two and a half years ago.
Troubled by the suicides happening in the LGBT community and noticing that role models were sorely lacking for LGBT teens,
Osso decided to make these six 10-minute doc portraits of loving LGBT couples and families and releasing them for free online, in hopes that the movies would start tilting the balance toward seeing successful, thriving LGBT lives on screen.
In the first video, Osso explains the concept behind the short film series and some of the reasons why he made the films.
