Since 2009, 100 Gay Men has provided support to local service projects and grassroots community initiatives. The organization’s mission is to harness the talents, resources, and energy of adult gay men for the betterment and evolution of diverse LGBT communities.
Based in Los Angeles, the organization announced that leaders in San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and New York expressed a desire to charter 100 Gay Men affiliate organizations within their respective cities.
100 Gay Men will hold its first community conference on February 26, entitled The Gay Adult; Calling Ourselves into Being – A Day of Intergenerational Dialogue. The event will take place in Los Angeles at the Renberg Theatre.
“We’re proud of what 100 Gay Men has accomplished in 2010, especially our successes at providing support to several important community organizations, growing our membership, and building our organization. We are excited about the future as we head towards our first conference and signature event,” stated Jason Lee, President of 100 Gay Men. The organization’s motto is “Transform the Community, Transform Yourself.”
