If you’d like to get the inside scoop about what it’s really like to be at the Oscars, the Emmys or any number of other glamorous occasions, then head downtown to the Inkspot on Saturday night.
Local fashion writer Chantal Gordon will be in conversation with Christine Schwab, one of the most successful television personalities in fashion, beauty and lifestyle and a recurring guest on Oprah!, Rachel Ray and many other shows.
These two fashionistas will discuss Schwab’s career and Take Me Home from the Oscars: Arthritis, Television, Fashion and Me, Schwab’s “delicious behind-the-scenes look at fashion and TV.”
Schwab will also talk about how she managed such a grueling career while enduring the crippling pain of rheumatoid arthritis.
The event is part of the San Diego Writers’ In Conversation with… series. The June 4 event starts at 6 p.m. at the Inkspot, 710 13th Street, Suite 210, in downtown.
