Over the years, the San Diego LGBT community has enjoyed the music of several gay men’s singing groups. It’s worth noting the city and our community has also been fortunate enough to have the San Diego Women’s Chorus to listen to.
The San Diego Women’s Chorus’ history stretches back to 1987, so these gals have been singing for a very long time, ever since George Michael had faith and Whitney Houston wanted to dance with somebody. The chorus’ history continues this weekend with their spring concert Our Romance.
Dates are May 21 at 7 p.m. and May 22 at 3 p.m. at the Mission Hills United Church of Christ (4070 Jackdaw Street in Mission Hills). Go to sdwc.org for tickets and details.
