San Diego Women’s Chorus presents Our Romance, a fun and emotional journey through the world of romance with its joys, sorrows, delights and yearnings.
Song selections include “Love Song” by Sara Bareilles, “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge, “I’ll Cover You” from Rent and “Constant Craving” by k.d. lang. The Chorus will also sing “What About Love” from the musical The Color Purple. The song’s lyrics capture the spirit of their 24th annual spring concert: “I want you to be a story for me that I can believe in forever.”
Dates are May 21 at 7 p.m. and May 22 at 3 p.m. at the Mission Hills United Church of Christ at 4070 Jackdaw Street in Mission Hills. Tickets are $15.
