The Human Rights Campaign has released a video on Angel Colon, a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
He has learned to walk again after sustaining six gunshot wounds in the attack, and fights every day to get back to where he was physically. Angel says that he’s been lifted up by support from not only his family, but from around the world. “Seeing the LGBT flag all over, in places where I wouldn’t think it would be. It just shows how much love is out there … Being able to be here every day, it’s like you have a second chance in life. And I’m gonna make the best of it.”
