Ahead of today’s Pride parade in D.C., new TWEET and FACEBOOK posts from Sen. Kamala Harris highlight a new Pride flag placed in front of her office Friday.
Above the picture Harris posted, “Added a new flag to my Washington office this month – because in California we’ve got pride.”
Sen. Harris is currently the only Democratic senator with a Pride flag outside of her office. As Attorney General, Harris lead the team that helped bring down California’s Proposition 8 at the U.S. Supreme Court and to fight for marriage equality nationwide.
