SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Lambda Archives has announced that they will be resuming the Hillcrest LGBT history walking tours next month. The next walking tour is set for Sunday March 19 at 11 am. The starting point has moved to the corner of 5th and Robinson, the corner of the Rite-Aid parking lot right across from the Brass Rail and Starbucks.
The tours are a great way to learn why Hillcrest became the center of San Diego’s gay world and much more. The walk is about 2.5 miles and will take approximately 2-2.5 hours. Good walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat and bottle of water are recommended.
