One of the standouts was AirBnB’s 30-second commercial titled We Accept which took a swipe a Donald Trump’s recent immigration action. 84Lumber’s controversial ad featured a mother and daughter’s symbolic migrant journey toward becoming legal American citizens. The original commercial contains content deemed too controversial for the original ad and was banned from broadcast, as it commented on Trump’s proposed border wall.
The ad directed people to the 84Lumber Web site which subsequently crashed.
