Georgette Gomez’s lead over Ricardo Flores in the San Diego City Council District 9 races continues to grow.
KPBS reported that Gomez now has 52.5 percent of votes compared to Flores’ 47.4 percent.
One hundred percent of precincts are reporting, however, the San Diego County Registrar of Voters Web site said 620,000 mail and provisional ballots are still left to count.
The race is separated by 969 votes.
