Claire Kittrell, who created the viral Gingers Do Have Souls video and starred in the reality show Hollywood Hillbillies, came out as transgender in an YouTube video yesterday.
“Please watch the whole way through before you judge,” wrote Kittrell on YouTube. “I am so tired. I’ve tried filming this 100 times today and I am not happy with how the video went but I was fighting an anxiety attack through out the whole thing. Not going to try filming this again. Take it or leave it, this is who I am. No longer going to hide. Thanks.”
Kittrell, 23, – formerly Michael Kittrell – shared the video explaining that her five-month hiatus from the video hosting site was because she began her transition and was undergoing hormone replacement therapy.
