A gay police officer was among those wounded in a shooting that left five of his colleagues dead Thursday night in Dallas, reports The New Civil Rights Movement.
Jesus Retana, 39, is now reportedly recovering at home with his husband, former DART officer Andrew Moss. Retana has worked for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) for 10 years.
