Michael and Scott — the latest couple to indulge in a celebrity-styled wedding – were married by none other than Kevin Smith. The couple, being hockey enthusiasts, garnered sports jerseys while exchanging nuptials. Guests were no exception – they too were outfitted in hockey jerseys while the gay couple tied the knot.
“By the power invested in me by the almighty Universal Life Church, which anybody can just [do] online by the way, and this here building being SModcastle, I now pronounce you and Scott married!” said Smith. It was official – they were married
The usual reception and trimmings followed.
“Normally you have to compromise this way or that way, and this was absolutely no compromise,” Michael said. “It was exactly the way we wanted it.”
