SAN DIEGO — Friday, May 20 Family Health Centers of San Diego’s (FHCSD) Spirit of the Barrio luncheon will feature a panel of guests from our very own San Diego State University’s (SDSU) Athletic Department. The luncheon will take place at Logan Heights Family Health Center (1809 National Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113) from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
The dynamic panel features SDSU Athletic Director Jim Sterk, Head Football Coach Rocky Long and surprise Aztec guests. Ted Leitner, Sportscaster and San Diego Padres/SDSU Men’s Basketball and Football Radio Announcer, will serve as the emcee. The panel will discuss SDSU football while fielding other Aztec-related questions.
Additionally, this month’s Spirit of the Barrio will feature a Q&A session and raffle prizes from the SDSU Aztecs and other Southern California attractions.
Community members are invited to attend the luncheon! Tickets are $25 and still available for purchase at www.fhcsd.org/spirit-of-the-barrio. The luncheon will be live-tweeted and guests can join the conversation by using #SOTBAztecs.
