LOS ANGELES — Jackson Browne will perform two previously postponed and rescheduled shows in North Carolina May 28 and June 1.
The shows in Asheville, NC and Wilmington, NC were originally scheduled for Jan. 8 and 22, earlier this year, but both shows were postponed due to illness and weather, respectively.
Jackson will be donating the entire net proceeds of both North Carolina shows to support local and national LGBT groups, including Equality NC and Human Rights Campaign.
Says Browne, “There are a lot of fine people in North Carolina, and some of them are transgender. I am coming to North Carolina to play for anyone and everyone, and the proceeds from my two concerts will be directed to groups working to advance equality under the law for transgender people.”
