The No. 1 show of the summer for the past decade, America’s Got Talent (AGT), will host Season 11 open call auditions in San Diego Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the San Diego Convention Center. San Diego is the seventh stop on a 12-city nationwide search for America’s next big undiscovered entertainer.
Those interested in auditioning can register for the San Diego auditions at AGTAudtions.com. Auditions will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 West Harbor Drive in San Diego.
Online auditions are also available through March 2016 for anyone unable to make it to one of the 12 audition tour stops at AGTAuditions.com.
AGT have also announced that Simon Cowell will be taking to the judges table for the upcoming season. Cowell created the “Got Talent” format that first launched with AGT in 2006. It is now the most successful TV format of all time.
“I am really thrilled to be joining America’s Got Talent next season,” said Cowell. “What I love about this show is that it’s open to absolutely anyone. America has some fantastic talent just waiting to be discovered, and I would like that talent to come to our show, including any dogs who can sing!”
