St. Paul’s to honor World AIDS Day by lighting the cathedral red

St.Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, at 2728 6th Ave. in San Diego will honor World AIDS Day by lighting the cathedral red.

The Cathedral lights have been changing each month to recognize various national and world issues.  This week Nov 30- Dec 3 the Cathedral will reflect the color red in remembrance of all those who have died of HIV/AIDS worldwide and those currently affected by the virus.

“Our prayers are with those around the world suffering with HIV/AIDS and we pray this will be the year a cure for this disease will be found,” said Cathedral Dean, The Very Reverend Penny Bridges.
