Point Foundation, which empowers LGBTQ students to achieve their full academic potential by providing them with college scholarships and mentoring, will host “Voices On Point” Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
Caitlyn Jenner will present the Point Horizon Award, which is given to inspirational young leaders who have advocated for the LGBTQ community. Recipients of this year’s Point Horizon Award are two Point Alumni: Rhys Ernst, Co-Producer of Amazon’s Transparent, and Zach Zyskowski Producer on ABC Family’s Becoming Us.
“Voices On Point” is Point Foundation’s signature annual L.A. event and brings together top entertainers, corporate leaders, Point Scholars and Alumni in support of LGBTQ students pursuing their dreams of higher education and a better future. The gala is an entertaining and moving live show that includes musical performances, tributes, and recognizes those who have paved the way for the LGBTQ community.
