The U.K. will hold its first ever Leather Pride Nov. 6-8 in the maritime city of Bristol in south-west England.
For the first time there will be a weekend dedicated to leathermen in the United Kingdom and reaction and interest is building fast on the special Facebook event page and Twitter and on a dedicated UK Leather Pride website.
According to the organizers, “The U.K. needed a leather pride; Leather Pride needed a home. So, a small team of leathermen got together and decided to organize a U.K. Leather Pride. We looked around for a city to host such a great weekend – and we chose Bristol.
“Bristol’s a quirky city and is well suited to leathermen. The city hosted Bristol Leather Weekend last year which was an outstanding success.
We figured the city would be an ideal host for the first ever UK Leather Pride. And, after consulting with local businesses and groups, we settled on the first weekend of November as the right time to hold it.”
