Musicians Sara Bareilles, Lance Bass, Cyndi Lauper, LeAnn Rimes, award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, and actor Verne Troyer have signed on to Freedom to Marry’s Say, “I Do” campaign.

Since launching the Say, “I Do” campaign on March 14, more than 70,000 people from across the country have joined celebrities, leaders in tech and business, musicians and athletes in urging President Obama to join the majority of Americans who support the freedom to marry for same-sex couples.

“We ask you now for your leadership on ending the exclusion of same-sex couples from marriage – an exclusion that harms millions of Americans each day. Whether to end discrimination in marriage is a question America has faced before, and faces again today,” the campaign writes to the President.
