Gay hotelier and developer Ian Reisner took to Facebook in an attempt to apologize for hosting an event for Senator Ted Cruz at the Manhattan duplex that he owns with his business partner Mati Weiderpass. Somehow Mr. Reisner claims he was unfamiliar with the litany of anti-LGBT equality messages that Senator Ted Cruz has been sending over the last several years. I guess the threat of a protest and boycott of his Manhattan hotel, OutNYC, caused Mr. Reisner to take a closer look at Senator Cruz and his views with respect to the LGBT community. Several events have been cancelled at the hotel, as well as other establishments owned by Reisner and Weiderpass.
