Just when you think that the Republican Party presidential candidates cannot get any dumber with respect to LGBT issues, another one of their candidates raises the bar. On Face the Nation in a feeble attempt to seem more moderate, Senator Marco Rubio said that he did not believe sexual preference is a choice. Where should I begin? A: Marco, this is not the 1950’s, it’s sexual orientation not preference. B: If it were preference then by definition that is choice. C: Log Cabin Republicans please produce a primer for your candidates. By the way, tell Senator Rubio I am African American not Negro.
