Help to create a permanent AIDS memorial site in San Diego by attending the San Diego AIDS Memorial Benefit Concert Thursday, March 26, from 7-10 p.m. at the MG Multi-use Space, 3090 Polk Ave. in San Diego.
Hosted by AIDS Memorial Task Force co-chairs, Katherine Stuart Faulconer and Nicole Murray-Ramirez the concert will feature comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO special and first openly lesbian comedian on Late Night with David Letterman.
This special evening will also feature one of the world’s premier Cher impersonators, Chad Michaels and the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus. SDGMC will be performing music taken from the era of the 1980s, in honor of the AIDS epidemic hold on the LGBT community during that time.
Plus there will be a performance from the Heartbeat Music Academy’s Thunder Drumline, the Manny Cepeda Orchestra, and stunning video presentations by producer David Jester.
General tickets are $42 and VIP tickets are $125. VIP tickets include admission to the artist meet and greet prior to the show, and special music reception featuring 2014 Latin Grammy Nominee, The Manny Cepeda Orchestra, as well as preferred seating in the VIP Lounge with hosted private bar and tray passed hors d’oeuvres.
