Sir Elton John has today tied the knot with his civil partner David Furnish, reports Pink News.
The veteran singer entered into a civil partnership with Furnish in 2005, and the pair are fathers to sons Zachary and Elijah.
After regulations came in last week governing the conversion of civil partnerships to marriages, the pair made arrangements for a “low-key” wedding at their home in Berkshire.
They have been sharing photos throughout the day of events.
Sons Zachary and Elijah served as ring bearers for the ceremony, with the singer sharing a photo of their shined shoes last night.
Sir Elton added: “Our little ring bearers are fast asleep, and their shoes are polished and ready for tomorrow’s celebration. @DavidFurnish #ShareTheLove”
He also shared a photo of the legal conversion at a registry office this morning – as part of the two-step conversion process the pair are opting for.
He also shared a photo of the vow ceremony – the point at which the couple exchanged vows after 21 years together.
