It has been a hard week for Candidate Carl DeMaio. He was accussed of sexual harassment by a former male staffer which has led to a fresh look at all the scandals that have plagued the candidate over the last few years; plagarism, an office break-in and vandalism reputedly by former staffers, as well as the masturbation accusations by a fellow city councilmember. Now, it is rumored that some plan to protest at DeMaio’s fundraiser at (number witheld by LGBT Weekly) Pacific Beach Drive, San Diego, CA 92109 tomorrow morning at 10 am.
The fundraiser at a private residence is being hosted by House Speaker John Boehner. Boehner is a foe of marriage equality but is hosting the fundraiser to support DeMaio. Will DeMaio bring his partner tomorrow morning and make Boehner deal with a same-sex couple standing next to him as he asks for money?
With a rumored LGBT protest will Boehner bother showing up?
How odd that Mr. Hale’s “Newspaper” has given the most recent DeMaio kerfuffle not a column inch of coverage.
CNN is doing much better than Hale and his “Journalists”.
