The United States Chamber of Commerce is the largest lobbying group in America and is considered a Republican leaning organization, that has occassionally endorsed conservative Democrats. Last night, the Political Director of the United States Chamber of Commerce, Rob Engstrom, tweeted some very interesting comments about 52nd District Congressional candidate Carl DeMaio. 
It seems that Engstrom is attempting to correct the record with respect to DeMaio and the US Chamber’s decision to endorse Congressman Scott Peters. Not one business supported DeMaio? That is an interesting assertion from an organization which spends the vast majority of its money supporting Republican candidates. Englestrom indicates that DeMaio is not pro-business and the lack of support for DeMaio by the Chamber membership is evidence of that fact.
