The series finale of the HBO hit comedic drama about a small Louisiana town, its vampires and the folks who love and hate them is finally here. All season, the writers have been wrapping up loose ends, pairing off lovelorn characters and settling old scores. Tara (Rutina Wesley) died but her spirit made amends with her troubled mother (Adina Porter); Sam (Sam Trammel) has sold his bar and left town with his new wife (Jurnee Smollett-Bell); Lafayette (Nelsen Ellis) has found love with vampire James (Nathan Parsons); and even man-slut Jason (Ryan Kwanten) seems to have found a woman to settle down with.
