March 4, from 6-11 p.m., let the wild rumpus begin as Hillcrest Fat Tuesday transforms University Avenue between 10th Avenue and Herbert Street to the carnival of the year!
A masquerade parade will kick off Fat Tuesday festivities from 6 to 6:45 p.m. where organizers will be tossing ornamental beads to get you in the mood. Although the parade is free and open to the public Hillcrest Fat Tuesday is a ticketed 21-and-older event.
General admission tickets are $20 and $30 the day of and include entry into Hillcrest Fat Tuesday, beads, glow sticks, access to gourmet food vendors, the Fat Tuesday Voodoo lounge and two bars.

Hillcrest Fat Tuesday is sponsored by the Hillcrest Business Association working with the GSDBA Charitable Foundation for the 12th year. Hillcrest Fat Tuesday will help raise funds for the GSDBA Charitable Foundation Annual Youth Scholarship with 50 percent of proceeds going toward the foundation.
