Possibly, the most anticipated new show of the fall is about a future in which every Los Angeles police officer is teamed up with an android. Detective John Kennex (Star Trek’s Karl Urban) is partnered with an older, more emotional model named Dorian (Michael Ealy) as they fight future crime and have hopefully non-clichéd human vs. robot banter. The show is produced by J.J. Abrams, who gave us Alias, Lost, and Fringe, so there’s great hope that this could be the next great sci-fi show. I hope it is.
