Oct. 17, Johnson & Johnson is “going purple” in support of Spirit Day. Spirit Day started in 2010 as a response to young people who had taken their own lives as a result of bullying. Observed annually, participants wear purple as a visible stand against bullying and in support of LGBT young people.
In honor of Spirit Day, many of the Johnson & Johnson consumer brands will turn their logos purple.
Spirit Day continues the mission of the Care with PRIDE™ campaign, a partnership between the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies and PFLAG to help fight bullying and to make schools safe for all. During Spirit Day, consumers can text ‘HERO’ to 41010 to donate $5 and the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies will match your donation with an additional $10 donation.
