Award-winning gay film set for DVD/VOD release

NEW YORK – Centaur Entertainment have announced the official DVD and VOD release of one of the most award-winning gay films of the year, Naked As We Came. Beginning  Dec. 3 the film will be available on all leading On Demand and digital platforms including Apple iTunes, Amazon VOD, Hulu, Netflix, Xbox Zune, PlayStation, Google Play, Sling, SnagFilms, and cable VOD, among other streaming platforms.

Dubbed as “a lovely surprise of a film” by The New York Times and a “thoughtful, sensitive exploration of strained family dynamics” by The Hollywood Reporter, Naked As We Came. has been the recipient of numerous awards at film festivals across the globe.  The December VOD release will be followed by an official DVD launch in January 2014.

Naked As We Came, written and directed by Richard LeMay, is a richly detailed portrait of love, loss, and hope.  A thoughtful depiction of one family’s struggle to come to grips with their past before it is too late, the film made its New York theatrical premiere in September 2013 at the Village East Cinema to rave reviews.  Naked As We Came was among the official selections of the top LGBT film festivals across the globe, including Inside Out Toronto, Out on Film Atlanta (Best Ensemble Cast, Juror Award), Frameline San Francisco International LGBT Festival, and Cinema Diverse Palm Springs Film Festival (Audience Favorite Award), and received numerous awards and accolades.  The film stars Ryan Vigilant (Gossip Girl), Karmine Alers (Rent), Lue McWilliams (The Pill), and Benjamin Weaver, was produced by Garden House Entertainment.
