SAN DIEGO — Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28 Culture Shock Dance Center (CSDC) will mark its 10th anniversary with 20 free classes as well as discounts on class packages.
CSDC, 2110 Hancock Street #200 in San Diego, opened its doors in September 2003 and has taught a variety of styles of dance to all ages. CSDC specializes in contemporary urban styles such as hip-hop, break-dance, contemporary and burlesque and has been called by the San Diego Union Tribune “the epicenter of hip-hop dance in San Diego.”
CSDC is also home to the San Diego dance companies, Culture Shock, Future Shock, Mighty Shock, Mini Shock and Afta Shock. The Culture Shock Dance Troupe, founded by studio co-owner, Angie Bunch celebrated their 20th anniversary last year.
Some of the free classes being offered include various levels of hip-hop, Cardio Burlesque, breakin’, popping, house, krump and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. All are welcome to come and dance and help celebrates this milestone.
