In a new ad campaign for marriage equality launched by Australia’s Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gay (PFLAG), a straight couple are told not the child’s gender but their sexuality.
Shelley Argent, a spokeswoman for PFLAG, told News.com.au that the campaign was created to gain support from traditional families on marriage equality because LGBT children are “born that way.”
“Being lesbian or gay is not a choice,” she said.
