SAN DIEGO — Ryan Trabuco, president of the Clairemont Town Council and former president of the Log Cabin Republicans has joined the Democratic Party.
Following Nathan Fletcher’s move to the Democrats Trabuco posted on his Facebook, ” Today is a great morning for @TheDemocrats. Two new members today: @NathanFletcher and myself.”
Ryan Trabuco joined the Clairemont Town Council in 2010. Born and raised in Texas, he moved to California in 2004, and has lived in the San Diego area since 2007. Since 2009, he has served on the County’s Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board where he provides oversight of the County’s treatment and rehabilitation programs, and helps advise the Board of Supervisors on alcohol and drug prevention policy.

I remember when Mr Durfee said: “Mr. Fletcher can change his party registration all he wants, but he can’t change his record”….but that was a whole 12 months ago. I also remember when Mr Trabuco said: “I’m very open minded… I just don’t like Obama. Personal preference.”…but that was way back in February.
This should be interesting to watch. Frankly, the local Democratic Party would do well to have some diverse opinions.
