GSDBA Professional Luncheon: May 14

The next GSDBA Professional Luncheon will be at Wang’s North Park, 3029 University Ave., in San Diego  11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The special guest speaker will be Gary John, president of Corporate Alliance of San Diego, a revolutionary company that facilitates the creation and growth of lasting business relationships between owners, executives, administrators and key employees. He also owns the Air Conditioned Lounge.

John will be speaking about small business and entrepreneurship.

Tickets are $25per person (lunch included), $35 at the door.

 

GSDBA presents ‘Engaging Aging:’ May 14

GSDBA, Scripps Hillcrest and Lifeline present a free community event featuring Gen Silent – a documentary film followed by a panel discussion including expert panelists in the fields of long term care, financial and estate planning, senior medical care, graceful aging, senior housing options and more. There is no need to RSVP, be sure to arrive early as seating is limited. The program is as follows:

Community meet and greet: 5:30 p.m.

Gen Silent Screening: 6 – 7 pm

The Expert Panel 7-7:30 p.m. Includes: Dr. Teresa Shanahan, PhD, Founder & Owner of Lifeline; Sacha Mackels, Financial Advisor, Tax & Financial Group; Kevin T. Kellar, Esq., Principal, Kellar Law Group, Estate Planning Attorney.

The panel discussion will follow the screening of Gen Silent. With special guest moderator, John Brown, executive director of San Diego Human Dignity Foundation

The event will be 6-8 p.m. at West Auditorium Scripps Mercy Hospital, 4077 Fifth Ave., Lower Level in San Diego 92103.
