Three men were assaulted Saturday morning, Feb. 12 in Mid City, during a fight that began with derogatory comments about the victim’s sexual orientation, according to a police report.
Four males were walking in the 3900 block of 46th or 47th streets at about 1:30 a.m. Four other males, wearing dark clothing, made derogatory comments about their sexual orientation. A fight began and three of the men were stabbed or cut by a knife.
The three victims showed up later at local hospitals and reported the crime. The injuries were not life threatening.
The suspects were described as being in their 20s. Two were Hispanic males, one was a Black male, and one was an unknown race. Mid City Division is handling the investigation.
