The GLBT Historic Task Force has announced today that the first lady of San Diego Bronwyn Ingram has agreed to co- chair the San Diego AIDS Memorial coalition.
Ingram said, “I am honored to co-chair the coalition to establish a San Diego AIDS Memorial. It is so important at this time to increase the momentum of raising awareness of AIDS/HIV, and I believe that the establishment of a memorial will be a fitting tribute to the men, women and children who lost the battle with AIDS and a symbol of encouragement in the ongoing fight to find a cure.”
The Task Force will be announcing other members of the San Diego AIDS Memorial coalition in the coming week.
