San Diego LGBT Pride has announced that due to the success of this year’s Pride event it has given more than $85,000 to LGBT-serving organizations in 2012.
“Pride has continued to work hard to increase both the size and scope of our annual event, year round civic engagement, and community giving. This year has been one of our most successful in all three areas in recent memory,” said Dwayne Crenshaw, San Diego LGBT Pride executive director. “We are proud to offer the opportunity for Pride’s dollars to stretch even further and do more good with a community matching campaign that will allow more individuals to engage with the organizations they love.”
