The University of California, San Diego is holding a Founders’ Day event starting 11.30 a.m. Fri. Nov. 16 at Town Square, UC San Diego.
This year’s celebration opens with a brief video, telling the story of the campus through the eyes of past chancellors. The investiture of Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla follows. After the program, affinity booths manned by representatives from nearly 20 academic departments, UCSD alumni, campus organizations and more will be open to attendees.
There will be free sample bites from the area’s top gourmet food trucks including Devilicious, Flippin’ Pizza, Super Q and The Dog Shack.
Live entertainment will be provided by the UCSD Tritones, Pep Band, King Triton and performances from artists in the Division of Arts and Humanities.
