Art of Pride is presenting an exhibition of the works of Bill Mead and John Keasler at the San Diego LGBT Pride Office, 3620 30th Street in San Diego. There will be an opening reception Saturday, Oct. 13 6 – 9 p.m.

Bill Mead has been an artist all his life and discovered photography when in 8th grade. All his work on display in this show is photography, which he describes as “… pushing the literalistic boundaries of photography.”

John Keasler works in a variety of media including paint, wood, clay, pen and ink, ceramic and mixed media works. Keasler’s move to San Diego in 1975 inspired him to seriously pursue drawing, painting and creative craft. He is currently working on a fabric installation at the San Diego Museum of Art.
