The San Diego Democrats for Equality will be co-hosting an Obama Watch Party tonight at 6 p.m. to watch President Obama’s speech as he officially accepts the Democratic Party nomination at the convention. The event will take place upstairs at The Range, at their new location at 1202 University Ave. in San Diego. Admission is free and open to all.
Ten delegates from the San Diego Democrats for Equality have attended this year’s DNC, the highest number of delegates the club has ever sent to the convention since 1975.
“A tremendous amount of progress has been made in the last four years under the leadership of President Obama,” said Doug Case, president of Dems for Equality. “We are incredibly proud to be an active part of a party that has supported our community, and we will continue to work to ensure that the president gets re-elected.” v
