This hilarious one-man show takes us back to Steve Solomon’s wacky childhood growing up with his twin sister. A wondrously funny performance, My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m Still in Therapy! finds Solomon tackling adolescence, mixed marriages, ex-wives, dogs, cats, dieting and dozens of other side-splitting and endlessly relatable situations, with dialects and wacky sound effects that add to the hilarity of each story.

Abba Fab – a tribute to Abba
This multimedia production pays tribute to some of the greatest music produced in the 1970s and 1980s. Abba, originally from Sweden, swept the world with their music back in the 1970s with songs such as “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” and “Dancing Queen.” Abba Fab is the closest recreation to an original Abba concert as it gets. The stunningly accurate vocals of Anne Davies and Chelsea Faulds are complemented by an amazing eight-piece band led by Terry Davies.

La Jolla Concerts by the Sea

Esperanza Spalding
Hailed as a prodigy on the acoustic double bass within months of first touching the instrument as a 15-year-old, Esperanza Spalding has emerged as a fine jazz bassist, but has also distinguished herself playing blues, funk, hip-hop, pop fusion, and Brazilian and Afro-Cuban styles. Spalding recorded and released Junjo in 2006, following it with 2008’s simply named Esperanza, which scored big with critics and listeners alike.

Tres Equis comedy show
Tres Equis comedy presents some of the funniest Latino comics in San Diego along with headliner Zhivago! There’s only one thing that makes him more proud than his Latino heritage and that’s telling everyone about it. He gets so descriptive and goes into such vivid detail that, at times, you’d swear you were right there with him when it really happened, but glad you weren’t. He regularly performs at The Comedy Store, The LA Improv and The Ice House and is featured on Comedy Central’s Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution.
