This Saturday, July 15, the Imperial Court de San Diego will present a Say Something Hat Contest at The Caliph Lounge, 3100 Fifth Ave. in San Diego, 4-7 p.m. Seven categories of prizes will be awarded: Best Home-Made, Most Outrageous, The Southern Belle, The True Couture, The Derby Male, Most Eco-Friendly and Best Imperial Themed. An entry donation of $10 is requested for programs of the Imperial Court.
In addition to the contest and buffet-style hors d’ouevres, the new winners of the 2012 Gay Pride San Diego contest will be on hand as they start their year of presiding over all things Pride in San Diego. Attending will be Mr. Gay Pride San Diego 2012 Tonio, Ms. Gay Pride San Diego 2012 Tess and Miss Gay Pride San Diego 2012 Angel Fairfax for an informal meet/greet as San Diego starts a week of America’s Pride.
