LLLAC celebrates 29 years as venue for LGBT recovery

The Live and Let Live Alano Club (LLLAC) in University Heights will be celebrating its 29th anniversary Monday, May 28 at 2:30 p.m. with a barbecue and open house. All are welcome.

In 1983, a small group of recovering alcoholics and addicts saw a need for an alcohol- and drug-free center to advocate for LGBT recovery in San Diego. The Live and Let Live Alano Club’s mission is to provide a safe haven for LGBT people to pursue 12-step recovery from addiction in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
