San Diego’s only comedy show geared toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community returns June 14 with comedians Sean Wherley, Janice Remland, Tamer Kattan, Sarah Burford, and headliner Faith Choyce. The Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show begins at 8 p.m. and is held at Martinis Above Fourth, 3940 Fourth Ave., Suite 200, in San Diego.
Choyce hails from Los Angeles and has been named one of “America’s Funniest Lesbians” by Curve Magazine, and “One of the 100 Women We Love” by Go Magazine. She has performed across California, including the Hollywood Improv and Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
The Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show is restricted to ages 18 and older. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at martinisabovefourth.com. Advance ticket purchases are highly recommended, as people purchasing tickets at the door will be seated as space permits. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for pre-show dinner and drinks.
The Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show is produced by San Diego comedians Sean Wherley and Sarah Burford, and is designed to showcase the region’s top LGBT and allied comedians in a safe environment for the LGBT community.
