Take a stand for Russia: sign a petition to overturn St. Petersburg’s ‘gay gag bill’

Gay News _ San Diego

Following last month’s passage of St. Petersburg’s vehemently discriminatory bill which prohibits any discussion of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender topics in public, All Out, a for-LGBT organization, is calling for all activists and allies to sign a petition to overturn the ‘gay gag bill‘ and transmit support for those affected in St. Petersburg.

All Out reports:

Despite our international uproar, conservative lawmakers in Saint Petersburg passed the notorious “propaganda” law to silence any reading, writing, speech or debate on anything “gay” – and the governor signed it in to law.

Our friends in Russia are determined to challenge the law – in the courts and on the streets – and we’ll be with them every step of the way. Their message is simple but clear, despite attempts by the government to make LGBT people “disappear”: We will not be silenced.

Sign the petition now.
