Hayla single ‘I’m Free’ inspired by gay cheating boyfriend

The Billboard Dance Chart success ‘I’m Free’ by international singer-songwriter Hayla was inspired by her cheating boyfriend who went out on her with another man, says the dance-pop star.

After finding her cheating boyfriend in bed with his gay lover, Hayla decidedly remained calm. “Guess what?” she says. “I didn’t freak out at all. Everything was cool because a person needs to be true to himself first. I was just so amazed that I didn’t figure it out sooner! We were both set free to find our true selves.”

Born into a musical family, Hayla was raised by two lesbian moms and is the daughter of a gay hairstylist. Experiencing the wrath of prejudice during her youth, Hayla aims to share love and compassion with the community around them.

The single is currently enjoying the 23rd spot on the Billboard Dance Chart.

“I feel so blessed to be supported by all these immensely talented remixers on ‘I’m Free’,” states Hayla. “The clubs have always been a home to me. I’m sending a big hug and smooch to each and every DJ and radio PD out there spinning ‘I’m Free!'”

Hayla is currently working on her 2nd full length CD slated to be released this June.
