Monsoon restaurants join ‘Dining Out’

The Center has revealed that all three Monsoon restaurants will be participating in the forthcoming Dining Out for Life San Diego. Bombay Exotic Cuisine of India (3960 Fifth Ave), Masala Spices of India (314 Fifth Ave) and Monsoon Fine Cuisine (729 Fourth Ave.) will be joining more than 100 other San Diego restaurants, bars, coffeehouses and nightclubs to support Dining Out for Life by donating 25-100 percent of their day’s sales to support The Center’s HIV/AIDS programs.

For Dining Out for Life, taking place Thursday, April 26, Monsoon Executive Chef Ashley Popat will be preparing a special Chef’s Tasting Menu featuring four signature dishes, including San Diego’s favorite dishes of Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan.

“What I enjoy most about Dining Out for Life is that it is a great way to increase awareness about HIV and help out – over good food. Everything is better when good food is involved,” said Rakesh Popat of Monsoon Restaurant Group. “We have participated in this event for the past three years and we are happy to do it again. This year, all three of our restaurants will be participating. We hope you’ll join us for lunch or dinner.”
